Drunk Elephant
Research + Development
The brief was simple: create a disruptive campaign video with the narrative of “a girl in a lab concocting a formula” within the limitations of our small New York studio.
Welcome to Drunk Elephant’s R+D department!
Drawing inspiration from Metronomy’s music video for Love Letters—directed by Michel Gondry—I thought a rotating set was the perfect solution to squeeze a lab into a confined space while still making it feel immersive. I also wanted to utilize the cut outs of the walls to frame interesting shots, making the small space more interesting and engaging.
Taking the footage back, I designed Drunk Elephant’s first narrative-driven eye candy video and three Meta/Instagram spots.
